This outdated kitchen had a full remodel to not only lighten the space, but to make better use of it.

What we did:

Cabinets were replaced with Wellborn shaker cabinets. Using drawers versus cabinets maximized storage and light wood tones brightened the space. An end cabinet was added for a double trash pullout. To keep an open airy feel, and to display signature dishes, open shelving was installed. Textured hexagonal backsplash tiles were added for a handmade quality. A microwave drawer was added in the island for accessibility and aesthetic purposes. Mixed metals were used with the hardware and faucets to mix old and new. New appliances and Calacatta Gold quartz countertops were added.
