Coastal Oasis

This outdated house had a full kitchen remodel using existing layout, new floors, a partial remodel in the master bathroom, paint, and new furnishings throughout.

Dining Room

Flooring was replaced with warm toned wood. A trestle table and white Windsor dining chairs were selected. White plantation shutters were used to provide privacy. Coastal artwork and driftwood were added for visual interest, and an existing chandelier was painted and distressed to compliment the style.

Kitchen

Cabinets were replaced in the kitchen with new Wellborn shakers. Outdated Corian countertops were updated to bright quartz countertops with subtle veining. Wood shelving, above the cabinets, and bleached wood paneling, along the peninsula, were added for visual interest. The stone backsplash has color variations and texture to create depth. Large format tile was used for the flooring for a clean continuous look. A bar area with wine coolers and a dining nook were added. Turquoise stools and a matching chandelier were selected for pops of color.

Living Room

The fireplace was updated with stacked stone and light tones to brighten the space. New furniture was selected that felt casual and relaxing. For pops of color, blue pillows and a woven rug were chosen. To complete the space, natural Roman shades were added.

Master Suite

The same countertops and cabinets that were used in the kitchen were continued into the en suite. The bathtub was refinished and a new glass door was added for a budget-friendly update. A light wood inspired tile consisting of varying widths was chosen for the flooring. New mirrors, sconces, and faucets finished the coastal remodel, while in the bedroom new furniture, bedding, flooring, and accessories were added.
